It is a tourist place par excellence and emblematic construction of the city of New York, as it can be the very Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Join the island of Manhattan with the Brooklyn neighborhood. Personally, until I saw it, I could not imagine its magnitude. It is easy to think about the cost, not only economic, that should have supposed its construction.
Its dimensions are titanic, almost two kilometers side by side suspended between hundreds of steel cables and two central pillars. Only from one pillar to another there is almost half a kilometer. It took 13 years to finish it.
Among the shadows, cables, passers-by, floors, etc … etc … the photo shoot is assured. A jewel to behold and to the delight of crossing it both going to the Dumbo area (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) in Brooklyn, and returning to Manhattan enjoying the walk of one of the most impressive skylines in the world.
